Days 15-18 - Morro Bay

 Day 15- July 22, 2024

Still testing positive, but symptoms are tolerable and, at this point not unlike a summer cold. Not fun, but able to ride a couple hours to recupe at the beach.

We stopped in King City, CA, about halfway from Morro Bay. There were 8 back in and 8 head in stalls and many were empty.

There was a Cybertruck pulling a Model S on a trailer. They were still charging when we left.  Had our usual lunch tuna chips & pickles. Charging was 40%to 90% 25 mins

Once we got to Morro Bay, I spent the first day in the trailer, second on the beach for a little bit with a mask. (I know, it was outside and I just had it, but being really cautious. Besides, I don't want to give it to anyone else either.)

Day 16 - July 23, 2024

My youngest with his youngest. Both sweeties.

Day 17 - JULY 24, 2024

Hung out with Matty, Henk & Vernon (plus Roger & me). We walked around town, had a late leisurely lunch/dinner, and walked around the rock, which I don't think in over 40 years of doing the Morro Bay trip, I have never gone to Morro rock.

(above) We found an outdoor museum in town while walking around and did some exploring.

Roger, Henk, & Matty climbing on the rocks at the base of Morro Rock

Below is Vernon, Henk's spouse and my dear friend showing us his best "Blue Steel"

The base of the rock, beautiful green ice plant and other natives (above)

No explanation that I could find other than a cool statue.
